About

I’m Emil Pabon. I make sweaters. One at a time. From merino wool that comes from sheep who had a pretty good life (Responsible Wool Standard). The wool gets spun in Germany and Italy and is knitted right here in the Netherlands. No factories in distant places we've never visited. No "yeah but where does it really come from?" Just quality, made-for-you knitwear that takes a minute to make because good things take time.

On Color

You know that feeling when you see a color combination, and it’s giving the first time you tried a real coconut, that after a few spoons seems like it’s maybe fermented a bit, and are sunrises always this purple, and why is this rock moving, am I sitting on a turtle or what? That's what we're after. We work with colour schemes from famous artists who live and breathe color, but honestly? Your gut knows better than any algorithm what you should wrap yourself in. Pick what makes you feel something. The robots can't help you here.

Our Price

Luxury quality. Non-luxury price.

We're small. We grow slow. We don't spend money on influencers or subway ads or whatever brands do to make you think you need things. Most of what you pay goes into making your actual sweater. Our customers would rather wait a bit longer for something that matters than get another thing they'll donate in six months. We get it. You get it. The planet definitely gets it.

Shipping

Here's how this works: You order. We close orders. We get the wool. We book time at the factory. We make your sweater. Then it comes to you.

This takes weeks, not days. Which is fine, because you're going to wear this thing for years, not seasons. Take your time choosing colors. We'll take our time making it. Then you'll take your time wearing it.

Returns

Each piece is made for you specifically, so we can't take it back because you changed your mind or ordered the wrong size. And because this is important, please check our comprehensive sizing guide to spot your body type and the way you want your sweater to fit. If, however, something gets past our quality control, don’t be afraid to send an email.

Care

Our merino wool is 19.5 microns of superfine softness. It won't itch. It's treated to barely pill. And here's the thing: you don't need to wash it much. Just hang it outside once in a while and let it breathe. If it really needs cleaning, gentle hand-wash at 30°C max and dry flat, or take it to a dry cleaner once a year.

Availability

We can only make so many sweaters a month because we're not cutting corners on how or where they're made. Which means when they're gone, they're gone. Which also means you're wearing something not everyone has. Exclusivity through responsibility. Weird how that works.

Future

More color palettes. New collaborations with artists and designers who make us feel things. Summer styles. Stay tuned.
